SEA STORY - NEW SEA STORY - SUPER SEA STORY Several years ago Sanyo developed a new technology machine called Sea Story. The Sea Story Pachinko machine had (at that time) a whopping 4 inch video and 2 speakers. They also added 10 small lights surrounding the Play Board. The machine was an instant success. In late 2004 Sankyo unveiled their latest new product and as you can guess it was New Sea Story. The New Sea Story had several new advances in Pachinko machine play. The latest craze was Jackpot play and Sanyo did a very nice job incorporating Jackpot play in main stream Pachinko. The New Sea Story increased the size of the video to 6 inches and added stereo sound. While the sound left something to be desired and the video was not High Definition, it became an instant hit! Demand for the New Sea Story Pachinko continued to grow until a staggering 79.6% of the operating Pachinko Parlors featured the New Sea Story machine. To this day it stands alone at the top as the most popular Pachinko machine in Japanese history. As a ruler of it's popularity we sold more than 800 of these machines over an 18 month period. For those of you that were not familiar with Pachinko machines a year ago we would like to show you exactly what the machine looked like. We found this picture in our archives and it brought back many fond memories. SUPER SEA STORY HAS ARRIVED Take a moment to compare the two Pachinko machines. Beautiful crystal clear blue water with a giant whale and tons of smaller fish surround the High Definition video. The top row is located on top of the High Definition video and illuminates the game you have selected. This is a great feature so that you don't get confused and forget which Jackpot you are working toward. The second row of pictures appear in the lower right portion of the High Definition LCD. The choices are Deep Sea, Mermaid, and Hawaii. In the pictures above you see the Game Selection button. It is located on the front of the machine and directly below the Pachinko ball supply tray. Every time the Video Slot is activated the Game Selection light will illuminate. This means you have the opportunity to change games! If things aren't going well in the game you have currently selected you can change games in mid stream. Is this a great innovation in Pachinko play or what? The picture above is the Jackpot round selector. If the left side is flashing red you will have a 5 round Jackpot. If the flashing red light is on the right you will have 15 full rounds of Jackpot play. We think this is computer controlled unless we missed something along the way. That is very possible because the Jackpots were coming fast and furious. We hit 7 Jackpots in less than an hour.
